NOTICE TO ALL CONTRACTORS
RE: CITY OF WALKER REGISTRATION
1. RESIDENTIAL July 1st to June 30th of the following year
2. COMMERCIAL July 1st to June 30th of the following year
(NO STATE LICENSE OR WORKMAN’S COMP INSURANCE REQUIRED)
3. ELECTRICAL July 1st to June 30th of the following year
4. SIGN SPECIALIST July 1st to June 30th of the following year
(ELECTRICAL)
5. MECHANICAL FROM THE TIME YOU REGISTER until August 31st of
the year that the master license expires
6. PLUMBING FROM THE TIME YOU REGISTER until April 30th of the
year that the master license expires
7. FIRE ALARM July 1st to June 30th of the following year
(MECHANICAL)
8. STORM WATER DRAINAGE / and any permits that apply (if
working in city right of way you need to be licensed with City of Walker
DPW) If not working in the city right of way you need to have a current
plumbing registration in the City of Walker.
The following is required in order to process your registration:
please return the $15.00 administrative fee, a copy of your license,
a copy of your workman’s comp insurance form (except if
self-employed) and completed registration form with signature. If
all items underlined are not included and completed fully it will be
returned.
For plumbing registrations the administrative fee is $10.00.
