Indian Mill Creek Bridge Replacement

3 Mile Rd will be closed at Indian Mill Creek from September 1st - December 12th for a bridge replacement project.

The project will address the 90 year old structure that carries 3 Mile Rd over Indian Mill Creek.  The work will begin 250’ west of Indian Mill Creek and extend 600’ east to the west side of the Coopersville/Marne Railroad bridge.  The new bridge will be wide enough to accommodate a future 5 lane roadway section.  The project corridor will also have new sidewalk installed as required.  The existing railroad bridge will not be adjusted or modified as part of this project.

The official detour will be Fruit Ridge Ave and Walker Ave to I-96.  Local traffic may also take advantage of alternate routes.
